MOU signed between Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) and 2COMS Consulting Pvt.Ltd at the Employers Conclave organized by K-Disc. In attendance was Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala.

The MOU is aimed to create Job Integrated Skill programs enabling the youth of Kerala to seek employability. National and International employers graced the occasion for MOU signing and strategic development.

In attendance also was Dr Potheri Vasudevan Unnikrishnan, Member Secretary, Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council, and Mr. Sougata Roy Choudhury, Executive Director, Confederation of Indian Industry.

The Kerala Govt. is focused on bolstering the Hire-Train-Deploy model of employment. Employers from across the country attended the event to put forward their thoughts and be part of the strategic alliance.

On one hand, Indian govt and state governments are trying to make India the skill capital of the world, local activation partners will also play a key role in shaping the future of this initiative. The purpose of this MOU is to establish a framework for collaboration between the KDISC and the 2COMS Consulting Pvt Ltd to explore, develop, and implement initiatives related to Job Sourcing, recruiting, Train, and Deploy (RTD) mode Jobs, Non-RTD Jobs, and the integration of the DWMS Job Portal of KDISC with 2COMS Consulting Pvt Ltd Job Portal-Q Jobs, along with any other potential areas of collaboration.

As part of the strategic collaboration 2COMS Consulting will

• Identify and share overseas job opportunities. Ensure the validity and reliability of the overseas job opportunities and verify the credibility of the employers.
• Obtain and maintain all necessary approvals and permits required for the recruitment and placement of candidates in overseas job opportunities.
• Provide necessary support and counseling to candidates applying for overseas jobs.
• Streamline the application and recruitment process for overseas job opportunities.
• Share data of candidates applying for overseas jobs with K-DISC as per the agreed frequency and format.
